The funny thing is that the white kid is probably going to go back to the West and complain about “reverse racism” in other countries and that for the first time as a white person, they felt “oppressed.” Then they will go on to explain how there is no such thing as white supremacy because no matter where you go, if you’re the minority, you will be treated differently so really, everyone is racist. They will ignore the fact that as a white westerner, they can travel with ease without fear of racial profiling and harassment.  They will also exclude the parts about white people colonizing those countries and the fact that their family came there as a tourists, as missionaries, or on business and that even though they may get made fun of, they hold racial and class privilege and that their existence  is complicit in maintaining a global white supremacy. And then they will explain to everyone about how backward the brown folks’ culture is, because everything narrated from a Western viewpoint is the absolute T truth and western culture is SOOOO ‘civilized’ and free of patriarchy or some other kinds of bullshit.
